A Vibrant Union: Panisha and Thomas Bright and Beautiful Wedding at Arley Hall
We had the incredible privilege of bringing Panisha and Thomas’s vision for their wedding flowers to life at the stunning Arley Hall and Gardens. With a beautiful ceremony at St. Cuthbert's Church in Withington, followed by a spectacular Hindu ceremony at Arley Hall, this wedding was a vibrant blend of cultures, colours, and sheer joy.
Meeting the Couple
We first met Panisha and Thomas almost two years before their wedding day. Right from the start, it was clear they wanted their celebration to be a riot of bright colours and warm, welcoming vibes. The mendap was always going to be a focal point, along with a large hanging installation in the marquee, making their floral arrangements a central feature of the day.
Inspiration and Vision
Drawing from a wealth of gorgeous Pinterest images and the rich, bright hues often seen in Indian weddings, we began crafting their dream floral designs. Thomas, an artist, was enthusiastic about bold colours and textures, giving us free rein to explore vibrant palettes and creative arrangements.
Floral Highlights
The key flowers for this joyous occasion were large, blousy roses and phalaenopsis orchids, chosen not only for their beauty but also as a heartfelt nod to Panisha’s father, whose favourite flowers were orchids. These blooms featured prominently in the bouquets, adding a touch of personal significance to the floral designs.
One of the standout elements was the mendap. This gorgeous structure became even more special when, on the morning of the ceremony, its position was changed, prompting us to think on our feet! The result was a breathtaking display that looked stunning in the photos, capturing the essence of the day perfectly.
Bold, Colourful, and Fun
We embraced a bold, colourful, and fun style for Panisha and Thomas's wedding. The mendap was adorned with a vivid array of flowers, creating a vibrant backdrop for the ceremony. The marquee featured a large hanging installation that drew gasps of admiration from the guests, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Unforgettable Moments
One of the highlights of the day was seeing the wedding parties arrive for the Hindu ceremony. Thomas made a grand entrance accompanied by drums and dancing, a spectacle that added to the joyous celebration. As usual, I found myself tearing up during the ceremony – I’m a bit of a softie when it comes to these heartfelt moments!
And we can’t forget Marcel, the couple’s adorable dog, who stole the show with his two coordinating outfits matching Thomas’s attire.
